A Day in the Life: What It’s Like to Join Our Software Engineering Bootcamp
In the typical student’s daily routine, the first step often involves glancing at their calendar to map out the day ahead. Students can just click on the calendar event and they’re directed to their scheduled labs or lessons.
Each day is a unique blend of live sessions, pre-recorded videos, interactive labs, and engaging activities. To ensure a balanced schedule, students receive an hour for lunch to relax, refuel, and step away from the screen for a bit.
During lab sessions, students have the option to collaborate with peers via Zoom or work independently. For video lectures, the flexibility of playback allows students to revisit lessons at their convenience, with the added convenience of pausing to absorb content at their own pace. If any questions come up, the instructional team is readily available through Slack for help.
Live lectures also offer an interactive platform where students can pose questions and engage with their peers in a group setting, fostering a dynamic learning environment.
How to Get Started
Our Software Engineering Bootcamp transforms non-technical students and talent into full-stack engineering or similar roles. Students will gain a solid base of fundamental programming, computer science knowledge, and experience with languages, frameworks, and libraries that industries demand.
You can get in touch with the Admissions team to learn more about what it takes to successfully enroll and graduate with a Software Engineering Certificate — we’re happy to help guide you in the right next steps.
You can also attend a free class to get a sense of what it’s like to learn the basics of software engineering — it’s a great introduction to the topics you’ll encounter in your bootcamp.
If you want to dive a little deeper before you commit, you can also sign up for a workshop. Get a bit more hands-on and interact with classmates and an instructor. You can apply the cost of the workshop towards your bootcamp enrollment.
Note: New Software Engineering Bootcamp updates are not currently available for Singapore-based learners.
