In this free, 2-hour session, you¡¯ll learn about the history and relevance of JavaScript, and get hands-on practice with basic syntax like logging, variables, loops, and functions. Then, take it up a notch and practice DOM manipulation by applying ¡°dark mode¡± to a website with the click of a button.

By the end of this session, you¡¯ll be ready to take on a new challenge in our next session: [Making a Website Interactive with JavaScript]. You¡¯ll work on the existing website we built in the last session with HTML & CSS, and even learn to retrieve data from an API. We¡¯ll see you there.
