    About this class

Now that you¡¯ve got a wireframe, let¡¯s make it interactive by turning it into a clickable prototype in Figma. This is where UI and UX come together.

This free, two-hour session gives you hands-on practice creating a clickable prototype from a wireframe in Figma. First, you¡¯ll learn about the basics of prototyping and why it¡¯s crucial to the UX design process, plus get a crash-course in MVPs (minimum viable products). Then, you¡¯ll get to work in Figma ¡ª using frames, overlays, screen delay, and horizontal scrolling ¡ª to turn your wireframes into clickable prototypes.

Whether your goal is to add UX design skills to your resume, or to completely pivot into a UX design career, you¡¯ll leave this series with a solid foundation of UX design basics to build on in one of our short courses or bootcamps.

    Takeaways

    • Understand what prototyping is, why it¡¯s crucial to UX design, and when to use it.
    • Learn the what, when, why, and how of MVPs (minimum viable products).
